This hauntingly beautiful house was featured on numerous paranormal shows. One of those shows was with the Ghost Brothers back in 2019. The Spencers talked about seeing doppelgangers of themselves and their son. They also said they experienced furniture rearranged and kitchen cabinets opening and closing. Some paranormal experts say those doppelganger sightings might have been a spirit trying to make contact with the living. Creepy right?

The letters showed that LaDell had rekindled an affair with her first love who was now married. Savage kept promising to leave his wife and marry LaDell, but before Christmas, he wrote to LaDell to tell her it was over and he wasn't going to leave his wife for her.  You can imagine the devastation LaDell felt. Her son's death only three years earlier and now the realization that she would never marry her first love.
