Texarkana Fast-Food Restaurant Pushes Back Opening

By now I'm sure you have already heard the news that Texarkana is getting a Jack in the Box this year.

However according to the Texarkana Gazette, fans of the burger franchise will have to wait a little longer, it was reported on the Jack in the Box website that it was scheduled to open in August 2024 but the date has been pushed back, and is now scheduled to open in October 2024 if all goes according to plan.

The new restaurant will be built on N. State Line Ave near a new Golden Chick location on the Texas side of Texarkana. The plot of land has been cleared for quite some time and markings are in place for the future restaurant.

For now, folks craving the Jack in the Box Classic Buttery Jack Cheeseburger or their famous Tacos, folks will have to take a road trip to the Shreveport location at 889 Bert Kouns Industrial Loop, their restaurant in Longview at 490 E. Loop, or in Sulphur Springs at 110 Shannon Road W.
