Hot Springs Memorial Day Weekend Fireworks + Special Events

Memorial Day weekend marks the unofficial start to summer and what better place to be than Hot Springs, Arkansas for its annual Memorial weekend fireworks display?

Fireworks Over the Lake - Sunday, May 26

Gather up family and friends for one of the best Fireworks displays over beautiful Lake Hamilton where you can watch the fireworks on the lake, off the shoreline, or from the highway. The fireworks will be shot from the middle of Lake Hamilton from barges located on the east side of Highway 7 at the first Highway 7 bridge opposite the Doubletree Hot Springs

I must admit watching the fireworks from a boat is stunning the reflection on the water makes it an even more dazzling display. Tune your radio to US 97 (97.5) and watch the fireworks synced with music for an unforgettable experience.

This marks the first of three fireworks shows. planned for this summer at the lake the other dates are Independence Day (July 4) and Labor Day (Sept.1) In case of rain the fireworks will be moved to the following day.

May Daze Community Festival - May 24-25

The ultimate summer kickoff in Hot Springs with family-friendly events including an obstacle course, bounce houses, a dunking booth, and more. The May Daze Community Festival will have delicious food available, refreshing drinks, and a live DJ who will keep the party jammin'.' from 3 PM to 10 PM. Ouachita Highland Games May 25

The 4th Annual Ouachita Highland Games returns to Cedar Glades Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas on May 25. This festival not only showcases the skills of athletes but also live performances from bagpipers, energetic dancers, and compelling storytelling. You don't have to be of Irish descent or own a kilt to enjoy all the festivities which include Celtic arts and crafts, tasty food, and drinks from 9 AM to 6 PM. $5 Admission
