Did you know that Hot Springs, Arkansas, was the birthplace of Major League Baseball Spring training? Baseball legends like Babe Ruth honed their skills at Majestic Park, where Babe trained and practiced in the early years while playing for the Boston Red Sox.

According to KARK, in 2025, the legendary baseball player was honored at Majestic Park during the World Series, where a wreath was placed at the Babe Ruth statue on the 77th anniversary of his death.

Dale Murphy,  a former MLB outfielder and first baseman (played from 1976 to 1993)

Bill "Spaceman Lee, a former left-handed MLB pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox, was nicknamed "Spaceman" for his eccentric personality and was inducted into the Red Sox Hall of Fame on November 7, 2008.

Al Hrabosky,  a former MLB pitcher and current Cardinals television color commentator (played from 1970 to 1982)

You don't have to be a baseball fan to enjoy all the festivities in celebration of the birthplace of MLB spring training in Hot Springs, Arkansas. This will mark the first time that Morris and McGriff will be guest speakers at the popular event.
