Do you know a teenager that's creative and loves to make videos? Then be sure to get them signed up for this video contest that is being held for Arkansas high school students. Two big film festivals in Arkansas, The Fort Smith International Film Festival and the Ozark Media Arts Festival have teamed up with Keep Arkansas Beautiful Commission for this contest.

This video contest is open to Arkansas high school students, from 9th grade to 12th grade. They are asked to create a 30-second video commercial on the Keep Arkansas Beautiful mission to inspire people to improve their communities by preventing litter, promoting recycling and keeping Arkansas beautiful.

The videos need to be submitted to Ozark Media Arts Festival on FilmFreeway Deadline to submit a video is Sunday, September 24, 2023, 11:59 PM.  Winners will be announced on Thursday, October 5 at the Ozark Media Arts Festival in Springdale. There is no fee to enter the contest.

Brandon Chase Goldsmith, the Executive Director of the Fort Smith International Film Festival said in a press release,

These young filmmakers are our future. I cannot wait to see what students across Arkansas create.

The winning video will be showcased at the Ozark Media Arts Festival.  There is something for the winning student's teacher too.

This year is the 13th Ozark Media Arts Festival in downtown Springdale on October 4 and 5. This festival gives local and regional students the chance to show their work and exposure to professionals in the media circles of digital film, broadcast TV, podcasting, photography, media marketing and graphic design.
