Fouke Monster Festival Returns This Weekend – Let’s Get Squatchy
Who's ready to get their Squatch on? This weekend is another edition of the Fouke Monster Festival, in the home of the Legend of Bogey Creek, Fouke, Arkansas. It's time to go Squatchin'.
If you're already a believer then this is simply a reminder that the event is this weekend, April 26 - 28. However, if you're skeptical, then maybe it's time to come hear the stories and meet the people who've seen it. The "It" I'm referring to is Bigfoot of course, but not just any Bigfoot, the world-famous Fouke Monster Bigfoot. Some of these folks have been hunting it for years, some for decades.
Fouke, Arkansas is the town and the Fouke Community Center is the place it will start on Friday at 7 PM with dinner followed by a screening of "The Legend of Boggy Creek" in 4K HD. (Sold Out)
Saturday the party moves over the Fouke Middle School where the events of the day kick off at 9 AM with vendors and speakers all day.
- 9 AM - Doors Open
- 10 AM - Opening remarks from Lyle Blackburn and a welcome from Fouke Mayor Terry Purvis.
- 10:15 - Ryan Edwards
- 11:15 - Break
- 11:30 - Marvin Leeper
- 12:30 - Lunch Break
- 1:30 PM - Tex Wesson
- 2:30 - Break
- 2:45 - Chester Moore
- 3:45 - Break
- 4:00 - Lyle Blackburn
- 5:00 - Speaker Q&A
- 6:30 - End
Guided Bus Tours are scheduled all day Saturday starting at 10 AM, sadly most I believe are sold out. But check the Eventbrite schedule and make sure. I believe there are some seats available for the Sunday morning bus tour.
General Admission and VIP Seating tickets are still available through Eventbrite.com and start at $40 plus fees.
More details are available on the Facebook Page.
