Festive Fun at Annual Hospice of Texarkana Jeans and Bling Oct. 7

The fall season is here and that means it's time for the annual "Jeans and Bling" on Saturday, October 7, at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center.

This festive event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for Hospice of Texarkana and this year promises to be the best ever. All the fun begins at 7 PM with this year's theme "Texas chic," so come dressed for the occasion, in Black and White attire, and don't forget to wear your boots y'all.

This special evening begins with a delicious barbeque dinner and a silent auction, new this year is called Trip and Room Makeover raffles. Then get ready for the fun-filled Celebrity Lip Sync Contest where local celebrities compete for bragging rights and a trophy.

The Band

Following all the scheduled events, the evening wraps up with a dance party with the high-energy pop band Boom Kinetic from Fayetteville, Arkansas.

Best Charity Event

The 14th annual "Jeans and Bling" event has been nominated for best charity event 10 years in a row by Four States Living Magazine’s readers and will not disappoint again this year.

$60 event tickets, pre-voting for Celebrity Lip Sync Contestants, and $100 raffle tickets are all available on their website.

Jeans and Bling are sponsored by Townsquare Media - KKYR, Wholesale Electric Supply, and the Yates Foundation along with many more generous supporters.

Funds raised from the event will support the Hospice of Texarkana Inpatient Care Center, which is akin to an intensive care unit for hospice patients.  Donations for the Care Center are appreciated and can be given online, by mail, or in person.
