Cass County Peace Officer Association Chili Cook-Off Coming to Atlanta
If you think your chili recipe has what it takes to beat the competition, it may be time to break out the secret ingredients.
The Cass County Peace Officer Association Chili Cook-Off, sponsored by Atlanta Dairy Queen, is set for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at the Atlanta Visitor Center & Museum in downtown Atlanta, Texas.
The cook-off runs from 11 AM to 1 PM, giving chili lovers plenty of time to sample the competition and decide which bowl deserves the top prize.
Think Your Chili Can Take the Heat?
Teams can enter the competition for a $20 entry fee, with prizes going to the cooks finishing in first, second and third place.
Of course, you don't have to be a chili chef to enjoy the event. If your cooking skills begin and end with turning on the microwave, you're still welcome, and encouraged, to come hungry.
For just $7, visitors can enjoy all-you-can-eat chili while supporting the Cass County Peace Officer Association.
The event will be held at the Atlanta Visitor Center & Museum on East Street at 111 N. East St. in Atlanta. Just a 20-minute drive from Texarkana.
