Hempstead County Sheriff's are investigating the gruesome discovery of a body in a railroad car this morning at a Tyson Plant near Fulton, Arkansas.

According to reports, the man's body was badly decomposed when workers discovered it around 4:20 AM on Monday, October 16, 2023. The workers were unloading a train hopper car loaded with corn from Missouri when they noticed a human arm and immediately called 9-1-1.

The body of a man was removed from the train car and, as of yet, has not been identified. According to a report from KSLA, the man did not have any ID on his person at the time of the find. The body has been taken to Little Rock for an autopsy.

According to the railroad documentation, the train car left Mexico empty, went to Missouri, and then headed from Missouri to this Tyson plant near Fulton, AR filled with corn.

Where along that route the rail car picked up the man and whether he was alive or dead is unclear at this time, and is now under investigation.
