Arkansas TV is at it again. They just announced that another brand-new Arkansas-produced series, “Taste Buds,” is coming. This one is set to premiere in March. The show is hosted by actor and comedian Brett Ihler. The best part is that it will shine a spotlight on some of the state’s favorite local restaurants and the people who make them special.

A Celebration of Arkansas Food and Community

The early episodes take us on a road trip across Arkansas to find favorite places to eat, including the Dixie Pig in Blytheville, Mud Street Cafe in Eurkea Springs and Star of India in Little Rock.

Arkansas TV Executive Director and CEO Carlton Wing says the series is about more than just what’s on the plate.

Taste Buds’ is a celebration of the people, places and flavors that make Arkansas special.

Wing also said that the show will go beyond the menu. They talk with the restaurant owners and locals to see the heart and soul of the places featured on the show.
