When you think of romantic towns to visit the first one that always comes to mind is Paris, France but you don't have to go that far for romance. There are some great romantic towns to visit right here in Arkansas.
These towns are great romantic getaways for a short weekend trip or a longer extended stay to explore the towns and everything they have to offer.
The website HoneymoonAlways.com took a survey and asked 3,000 people 'What lesser-known romantic destination would they like to visit this year?'

#140 Harrison, Arkansas
The scenery in Harrison is romantic with the Buffalo River and the Ozark Mountains as your backdrop. The area offers a sweet town square with shops and restaurants to experience. #129 Mountain View, Arkansas
Known as the Folk Music Capital of the World you can bet on finding music in this town. Located in the heart of the Ozarks this gives the town loads of romance. You can explore the area on foot or take a scenic drive, does it get more romantic than that? Mountain View also recently made the list as one of the Most Memorable Towns in the Ozarks
#22 Eureka Springs, Arkansas
This town is known for fun, art, shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities perfect for lovebirds to explore. A short drive from town you can take in the Passion Play which is always a favorite. While you are in Eureka Springs you will want to see the beautifully romantic Crescent Hotel. The hotel is also reported to be the most haunted hotel in the state if not the country. The spa capital of Arkansas. Couples can enjoy being pampering at one of the bathhouses in the downtown area. A stay at the Arlington and sitting on the veranda in the evening is a romantic must. There are also carriage rides available. Take a romantic walk through the Garvan Woodland Gardens or a scenic drive up to the Mountain Tower for a spectacular view.
