Arkansas City One Of The Unhealthiest In The US

First of all, don't shoot the messenger, it's not our opinion, we're just reporting it. Below we have listed the Top 5 or should we say, Bottom 5 Unhealthiest Cities in the United States of America. I'll tell you right now, the Arkansas city came in at #3 on the list. Let's break it down and see if you agree. 

An article came out last year (2023) reporting on a survey and analysis done regarding the unhealthiest cities in the US. The research highlights focussed on:

1. Adult Obesity Rates
2. Percentages of those still smoking
3. Environmental Quality
4. Adults in fair to poor health
5. Median Household Incomes

I'm not sure I agree with including "median household income" in the the equation, simply because you don't necessarily have to make a good living to eat healthy. Consuming a more healthy diet is a choice that can be supported on a modest budget just as eating unhealthy food is. "Choice" being the keyword.

The website 247wallst.com is the website that revealed the unhealthiest city in all 50 states, and after looking over the methodology, they could be right.

Adult smoking rate: 23.1%
