If you are an artist in Arkansas and would love to show your work on paper, here is your chance to show off your talent. The Arkansas Arts Council is accepting entries for the 2026 Small Works on Paper Exhibition.

If you live in Arkansas and you are 18 or older, you can submit up to three pieces online at arkansasarts.org through Friday, July 25. To enter, there is a small fee of $15 for one, $20 for two and $25 for three.

All your artwork must be on paper no bigger than 18x24 inches. It also must have been finished within the last two years. A juror from outside the state will be reviewing the submissions and will select up to 40 pieces for the exhibit.

Patrick Ralston, director of the Arkansas Arts Council, said in a press release,

Every year, Small Works on Paper gives Arkansans a peek into the portfolios of our state's best visual artists, both established and emerging. These creatives represent the workforce who are the backbone of our state's $3.5 billion creative economy.

The great thing about this exhibit is that it will travel all across Arkansas. It will be stopping at art centers, universities and museums in both big and small towns.
