According to the latest data drivers in Arkansas should be very cautious the GMC Sierra 1500, is one of the nation's Top 3 models with the highest death risk, with 1.44 percent of crash injuries becoming fatal. The national average death risk is 0.78 percent. These findings were then compared with new car sales to identify which model proves the most popular in each state before assigning a crash ‘death risk rate’ to each. Crash injuries can prove fatal for a variety of reasons, including the severity of the impact, use of safety restraints, and lack of emergency medical care. Other reasons may include faulty car design, flaws that could compromise the durability of the vehicle, or damaged safety equipment.
