Get Ready For The CASA Colorful Run 5k in Texarkana April 20
It's time to get ready and register for the 10th Annual CASA & TCAC Colorful 5k.
This color run is a great way to show your support for CASA and the Texarkana Children's Advocacy Center and it will be fun too!
When is The CASA & TCAC Colorful 5K?
It will all take place on Saturday, April 20 starting at 8 AM at Trinity Baptist Church in Texarkana. There will be a Kids Race and an Adult Race.
The 10th CASA & TCAC Colorful 5k is a 3.1-mile run or walk event on a cross-country trail. The race will begin with all those participating in the event by releasing a bag of color into the air. It will be a huge burst of beautiful colors.
What Happens on The Colorful 5K Run
The run will take place in an open field and then wind its way through a dirt trail system. There will be color stations set up throughout the race route. This is where runners and walkers will be showered with bright colors of powder, turning their white shirts into great explosions of color.
But, don't worry the colored powder is all safe, it's made from eco-friendly food-colored cornstarch.
You can register for the 10th CASA & TCAC Colorful 5K Run online at https://runsignup.com/Race/AR/Texarkana/CASAColorful5K. There will also be an onsite registration the day of the race beginning at 8 AM. The kids' race will start at 8:30 AM. The adult race will start at 9 AM: The kids can wear their favorite superhero costume.
