Alright… I’ve talked about UFOs before, especially right here in Texas, where, let’s be honest, we’ve seen some stuff in the sky that didn’t exactly look like a B-1 taking off from Dyess.

But now? Things just got kicked up a notch.

President Donald Trump is saying the U.S. government is about to release previously classified UFO files, and according to him, it’s going to be “very interesting.”

Yeah… that’ll get your attention.

What Trump Is Actually Saying About UFOs

This isn’t just some random comment on a podcast or a late-night rant. Trump has reportedly directed federal agencies to start releasing records tied to UFOs, also known as UAPs (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena).

He’s hinted that:

  • Documents have already been reviewed
  • Some of the findings are “very interesting.”
  • The first batch of files could drop very soon

Now, before we all go full “Independence Day,” experts are already pumping the brakes, saying don’t expect confirmed alien selfies just yet. Still… the fact that this is even happening? That’s a big deal.

This is where things get fun. Because long before Washington started talking about disclosure, Texas had been part of the UFO conversation.

From the famous Stephenville sightings to random reports across West Texas, there’s been no shortage of “what the heck was THAT?” moments in our skies.

Let’s just say… if aliens are visiting, they apparently don’t mind a little Texas hospitality.

The “Disclosure” Everyone Has Been Waiting For

There’s actually a whole movement built around this idea, called the Disclosure movement, where people believe governments have been sitting on UFO info for decades.

The goal? One big moment where everything gets revealed.

Is this that moment? Maybe… or maybe it’s just another round of documents that raise more questions than answers.

So… Are We Getting the Truth?

That’s the million-dollar question. Even Trump himself has admitted he’s not fully convinced aliens exist, but says the information coming out is worth seeing.

And honestly? That’s kind of where most of us are. Because whether it’s advanced tech, misidentified aircraft, or something way crazier…You can’t tell me you’ve never looked up at a West Texas sky and wondered.

For each state, we’ve also included details of famous UFO sightings in that state. Of note is that almost three-quarters of all UFO sighting reports in the United States occur between 4 p.m. and midnight, and tend to peak between 9 and 10 p.m. Food for thought next time you're out scoping for alien life.
