Texas Beverage Company Helping Those Affected By Maui Wildfires
A deadly wildfire in Maui has claimed over 100 lives and displaced thousands of Hawaiian residents. One Texas beverage company is doing its part to help out those affected by these devastating wildfires.
Texas-operated Ben E. Keith Beverages, who have partnered with Maui Brewing Company have launched a campaign to help the people of Hawaii during this difficult time.
The fundraiser allows you to donate to local organizations like Legacy of Aloha, Maui Brewing Co. Firefund, and Makai Foundation. You'll be helping thousands of displaced families in need as well as efforts to rebuild and restore the beauty of Maui.
As of this writing, 114 people have lost their life after the wildfires tragically destroyed everything in sight. There are still people missing in fact as families try to piece things together to just live.
I have only been to Hawaii (Oahu) one time. But I have never been to a place that was so beautiful and the people were so kind. It is seriously a breathtaking experience. So, my heart definitely aches for those affected by these wildfires.
My wife and I actually plan on going back to Oahu in September. When we first heard the news, we naturally thought about postponing our trip. After hearing from locals, especially business owners saying how much they depend on tourism we decided to keep the trip and also help out while we are there.
