"Duck Commander", brand of the Robertson family owned Louisiana company that makes the best selling line of duck calls and other outdoor gear, and of course famous from the T.V. show "Duck Dynasty" has partnered with Texas Motor Speedway to sponsor the "Duck Commander 500".

Willie Robertson, C.E.O of Duck Commander, made the announcement with a tweet,

The agreement is for "Duck Commander" to sponsor the annual Spring NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway. By far the biggest single day sporting event in the State of Texas, with an average attendance of more than 150,000 fans, the first "Duck Commander 500" will be April 6, 2014.

Duck Commander will sponsor the race for the next three years with an option to renew the contract for another three years. In a press release from Texas Motor Speedway, track President Eddie Gossage said,

This is perhaps the most unique sponsorship in professional sports because not only does this come with special branding, it comes with celebrity spokespeople that are followed by tens of millions of people every week. Fans will see members of the Robertson Family and cast of Duck Dynasty and all the rest during Duck Commander 500 week here at Texas Motor Speedway and we have produced some awesome merchandise that both race fans and Duck Commander fans will love. This marriage is perfection."

Willie Robertson, C.E.O. of the company founded by his father and family patriarch Phil Robertson in 1972 added,

We're excited about the partnership for the Duck Commander 500, being aligned with NASCAR, and to have our brand associated with an event of this magnitude. We are all big fans of NASCAR and have been all our lives. It's especially exciting to see our brand join to make it an awesome experience for the fan base and we can't think of a better place than our neighbor at the Texas Motor Speedway."

Tickets for the first annual "Duck Commander 500" go on sale February 14, 2014.

Race weekend will see all of the members of the Robertson Family and cast members from "Duck Dynasty" around the track and participating in different VIP or honorary roles such as Grand Marshals or Official Starters with lots of opportunities for meet and greets.

I am especially looking forward to the introduction of Uncle Si's Tea™ in the concession areas, along with other Duck Commander branded items like the Duck Commander BBQ Sauce, Salsa, and of course all of our other track favorites.

Of course, VIP Rewards Club Members will be able to win a Texas Motor Speedway experience that money just can't buy, so make sure you are a member or if you're not join now, and get ready for No Limits Racing at Texas Motor Speedway where you should always Expect the Unexpected!
