The unemployment rate for the State of Arkansas had a pretty good year in 2023, the overall statewide rate finished the year at 3.4% in December, almost a full point higher than the lowest rate during the year at 2.6% in July, according to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Parisian visitor, Julien Navas, had the ultimate experience at Arkansas' Crater of Diamonds State Park on January 11, a big diamond find. It's the fifth diamond found so far this year and the largest since 2020.
