The 70 race winless streak has ended for Carl Edwards with taking the checkered flag in the Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Here's an interesting fact, this isn't the first "70 race winless streak" Edwards broke at Phoenix, because it was a "70 race winless streak" that he broke at the same track back in November 2010.

It was victory for Edwards in the #99, followed by Jimmy Johnson in second, Denny Hamlin finished third after some on the edge driving, 2012 Champ Brad Keselowski ran fourth, and Dale Earnhardt Jr. finished fifth.

Up next it's the Kobalt Tools 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sunday March 10. Television coverage will be on Fox beginning at 1:30 p.m. (cst).
