The fall season is almost here. This year, the first day of autumn begins on Thursday, September 22, and you know what that means time for fall festivals, hayrides, corn mazes, and lots of pumpkins.

If you are looking for some creepy fun in the Texarkana area, look no further than Dancing Ranch Farms in Fouke.

This is not for the squeamish, ranch hands have transformed their farm into a haven of terror just in time for the fall season. While there is plenty of fun for older adults there will also be fun for the little ones as well.

Dancing Ranch Farms

Dancing Ranch Farms is the area's newest and most entertaining farm, located on Miller County Road 218 at 490. Things are about to get spooky early this year opening Friday, September 16, through October 31. Come experience the Rum Dum Funhouse and Abandoned Carnival with Rum Dum the Clown. Rum Dum makes the clown "It" look like Bozo. Did I tell you I don't like clowns?

Come meet The Joysters, two not-so-nice clowns, and Killsaw who makes Jigsaw look like a saint. If you dare take a haunted hayride or if you're really brave take the haunted trail of fears, find your way out of the corn maze and pumpkin patch or sit and watch an outdoor movie.

Visit the Witche's tabernacle or the Reapers Cemetery and get a palm reading from Catt Dahman. And you never know you just might see the Fouke Monster!

Activities for Kids

There will be plenty of family-oriented games, carnival-type food like Daisy’s Walking Taco, cotton candy, caramel apples, and apple dips. Not into the spooky stuff, kids will enjoy the farm animals and inflatable characters where they can take a photo or just have fun on the playground.

Dancing Ranch Homes will be open from 7 PM to 11 PM Friday and Saturday through October.
