Okay, there’s a new study out that we just can’t be sure of…  at least, based on our research so far.  There is a new survey done to find the most liked beer in the U.S., and Budweiser came in at number two behind Sam Adams.  Could this be true? Do you agree?

It’s that time of year again when we all need to keep an eye on the sky… Severe Weather season in the Ark-La-Tex.  Some of the most deadly and powerful tornadoes in North America history occur in the Spring.  We have some safety tips and pointers for you listed here.

There is a good chance that we will be getting some pretty significant rainfall over the next couple of days.  Here are a couple of maps with forecasts for the potential of both severe weather, and heavy rainfall thru Wednesday.

Heavy rains are expected in the Ark-La-Tex thru this weekend, with 6 to 8 inches possible in the Texarkana area.  The heaviest of the rains are expected in two waves with the first dropping into the area Thursday night.

The cities of Texarkana Arkansas and Texas, along with Miller and Bowie counties have launched the CodeRED Emergency notification system, an ultra high speed service for immediate notifications of events from severe weather, to missing children.

TMZ reports that Randy Travis was arrested in front of a Baptist Church in Sanger Texas near Dallas this morning, and he allegedly had an open bottle of wine.

We have been keeping up with the details of what happened earlier today, and are terribly saddened by the tragedy at the Bowie County Courthouse in New Boston Texas this afternoon, and it is so sad. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Deputy Sheriff Sherri Jones’ loved ones, family and friends, and all of the members of the Bowie County Sheriffs Department.
