Arkansas Tuitions to Go Up
The University of Arkansas board of trustees will meet this Thursday and Friday to discuss tuition increases for the coming school year. The university says the increases are needed to cover rising utility costs, technology upgrades, faculty maintenance and salary increases for faculty.
The board will ask for increase of between 3 and 5 percent. That would mean a student at Fayette
ville paying $7,173 dollars today would pay $7,553 next fall.
