Top Things Kids Want to be When They Grow Up, Rich and Famous?

Hongqi Zhang

A recent poll asked kids what they wanted to be when they grew up. The top two things were “rich” and “famous”. Really? This actually scares me!

22% said Rich and 19% said Famous…

Has reality T.V. done this? I’m not sure.  Yeah, great money is good but what about a profession? When I was a kid I didn’t think of money or fame. What about being a doctor, a nurse and teacher or a firefighter? Yes, some of those did make the list but I’m just a little shocked about the top two answers.

Also on the list: 16% said Police officer,  Zookeeper 14%,  Firefighter 13%,  Doctor 10%,

Veterinarian 8%,  Bus driver 7% and  Store owner 7%.

When you were a kid, what did you want to be?
