As we've been reading about the concerts by the Sound City Players, the supergroup assembled by Dave Grohl to help promote 'Sound City,' his movie about the Los Angeles studio, we've become intrigued by a new song he co-wrote with Stevie Nicks, 'You Can't Fix This.' Last night, the two performed the song on CBS' 'The Late Show with David Letterman.'
Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters and Nirvana fame assembled an all-star cast of musicians for his new documentary 'Sound City,' and for the lucky fans in select cities, he has been taking the show on the road with him. Following performances in Park City, Utah, and Los Angeles, the Sound City Players hit New York City for a one-night stand last night (Feb. 13) at Hammerstein Ballroom.
The 35th anniversary reissues of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours hit stores today. The band's historic 1977 album is available as a six-disc Deluxe Edition and a three-CD Expanded Edition. The deluxe package offers a remastered version of the original record plus the B-side "Silver Springs," along with a variety of demos and outtakes, a CD of a '77 concert performances, a DVD boasting a making-of documentary and a high-quality vinyl LP.
Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie of Fleetwood Mac will return to the road in 2013. There are no dates officially scheduled, but all parties have agreed on a tentative schedule of rehearsals, while keeping open the possibility of also creating new music.

Stevie describes the album as, quote, "my own little 'Rumours'." (That, of course, is a reference to the classic Fleetwood Mac album.)
