Getting around downtown at the Post Office/Courthouse is a little tedious but the end result of the Courthouse Square Connections Project will be so worth it. Starting tomorrow Wednesday, April 28 they will be changing things up a lot. Road work will be taking place on the road that circles around the courthouse.

More great news for downtown Texarkana! Texarkana was awarded a big grant to help with the improvement to the courthouse area downtown and more. The Texas Commission on the Arts Board of Directors met last week and voted to award $56,000 to the Texarkana Arts and Historic District for a Texas Cultural Project grant.
