I guess I have heard this come up a time or two over the years, but I saw this story, and thought I should ask you... Should Halloween be changed from October 31st to the last Saturday of of October?  Halloween night falls on a Monday this year, and that brings up a lot of problems, especially for those with little ones.

Think about it, it's Halloween MONDAY... You get off work, race home, get the kids dressed up in their costumes, take them trick or treating, have things lined out at home for trick or treaters, and make sure your kids don't eat to many milk duds, (my daddy told me and my brother that Milk-duds were probably poisoned, and that he would always need to test them all first... he loved his milk-duds).  Then... get them fed, cleaned, and ready for bed.  Whew!  I tired just typing all of that.

There's a Democrat in the Connecticut House of Representatives by the name of Tim Larson that wants his state, and eventually the country to change Halloween from October 31st to the last Saturday in October.

Before you decide, remember that's how it works with Thanksgiving too. It's always the 4th Thursday in November.
