Back when MTV stood for "Music Television" one of our favorite features was the Headbangers Ball on Saturday nights.

One of the bands from that era that you didn't hear too much about after the mid 90's was "Warrior Soul".

The band was formed by lead singer Kory Clarke, who may have had the longest hair of any front-man of the day.  The band was formed on a bet, between Clarke and a NY Rock Promoter.  Clarke said, "He could put together the best band in New York with in six months... 9 months later he signed his new band to Geffen Records and had a million dollar pay day.

One of the first tunes the band put on "Headbanger's Ball" was "We Cry Out" off of their debut album, "Last Decade, Dead Century".
