What Is This A Photo Of? – Patterson’s Pixels

Old Mill Swan
Jathan Fink/Townsquare Media

Can you identify the object in this edition of Patterson’s Pixels?

If you guessed that this was a swan, then you were correct! This particular beauty is a resident at The Old Mill in North Little Rock‘s T. R. Pugh Memorial Park.

Built in the 1930s, the park features an 1880s water-powered grist mill and is one of the most picturesque and photographed spots in the Little Rock area. In fact, the mill was even featured in the opening credits of “Gone With The Wind.”

Guided tours are available to groups of 10 or more, but prior reservations must be made. The park is in the Lakewood neighborhood. Call (501) 758-1424 for more information.
