Getting his second win of the season, Matt Kenseth took the checkered flag at Kansas Speedway to win the STP 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Race. Here's a quick recap.

Kenseth's number 20 Toyota was the dominate car of the day, starting from the pole position and leading 163 of the 267 laps. Thanks to a great pit stop on lap 218 Kenseth's team put him in the position they needed for the victory. This is Matt's second win of the season, and the 26th of his career. Kasey Kahne finished second, followed by Jimmie Johnson in third, Martin Truex Jr. in fourth, and Clint Bowyer in fifth.

Next Saturday it's the NASCAR Sprint Cup "Toyota Owners 400" at Richmond International Speedway. Coverage begins at 6:00 p.m.(cdt) on Fox. Kyle Busch won this race in 2012. (6 of the last 8 races at Richmond have been won by Joe Gibbs Racing.)

In the Nationwide Series it's important to mention that Kerry Earnhardt's son, Jeffrey Earnhardt, will be driving his uncle Dale's JR Motorsports number 5 Chevrolet. The youngest Earnhardt has made a total of 10 starts in the Camping World Truck Series, and 14 starts in the Nationwide series. Jeffrey is only the second fourth generation driver in NASCAR's top series, behind the late Adam Petty. By the way, racing isn't Jeffrey's only sport. He's not afraid to step into the octagon, and scrap. He made his MMA debut in May of 2012 beating Chris Faison by decision in Charlotte.

Going in to Richmond, the 9th race of 36 this season, here are the Sprint Cup point standings...
