Local Bands Fill Downtown with Music for Railfest

Easton Corbin was the big draw to downtown Texarkana this last weekend, but there was some great local talent on the Frontstreet Stage too.

We have received dozens of questions about photos and video of the BBQ Contest, and the daytime bands which included our old friends Greg Gardner and VooDoo Cowboy, Slick Leo, Gail Force, Curt Richardson & Kevin Zaliski, and Jaredd Reed. All did a fantastic job, along with Don Riddle running the sound. We got to hear some of the performers Friday night as we were waiting for the main stage to arrive.

I hate that I don't have photos to post, as we were restricted to just providing the headline act on the main stage this year. "Railfest" should get around to posting some photos on their Facebook Page in the days to come. They are doing a photo contest, and do not want to post anything until they receive submissions from those in attendance earlier in the day at Railfest 2013. As for some of the comments on their FB page...
