What a weekend we had at the Great American Speedway in Ft. Worth Texas! It was the first time the Samsung 500 Spring race at Texas Motor Speedway was run under the lights on a Saturday night, and we had a blast!

The weather was perfect but WINDY!!! The pre-race concert featured THREE DOORS DOWN, and they ROCKED! There was lots of green flag racing, most all of the crashes occurred on pit road, except for a crash on the back stretch that involved Martin Truex Jr., Regan Smith, and Mark Martin... (looked to me like Harvick might have had a little something to do with starting that off) and in the end it was the #17 "Crown Royal Black" Ford driven by Matt Kenseth that made it's way to Victory Lane! This was Kenseth's first win in the of the season, and ends a 76 race drought.

Kenseth had this to say to NASCAR.COM:

I've said it after every win, but especially after over two years, I didn't know if I'd ever have a chance to get here again, We had a packed house tonight, and it probably wasn't the closest finish for them, but we had great racing all night.

When all was said and done, this was the Top 10:
1)   Matt Kenseth
2)   Clint Bowyer
3)   Carl Edwards (my pick to win)
4)   Greg Biffle
5)   Paul Menard
6)   Marcos Ambrose
7)   David Ragan
8)   Jimmie Johnson
9)   Dale Earnhardt Jr.
10) Kurt Busch
