On May 28, John Fogerty will celebrate his 68th birthday and the arrival of his latest album, Wrote a Song for Everyone with a special one-off performance at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles.  Members of the ex-Creedence Clearwater Revival frontman's fan club now have the chance to purchase a limited number of pre-sale tickets to the show via JohnFogerty.com.

The event also will be filmed and will air live on AXS TV starting at 8:30 p.m. PT.  As previously reported, Wrote a Song for Everyone includes new versions of select tunes from Fogerty's CCR and solo catalog that he recorded with various rock, pop, R&B and country stars.

Among the artists featured on the album are Bob Seger, Foo Fighters, Kid Rock, Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello, Jennifer Hudson, My Morning Jacket, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban and The Zac Brown Band.  The 14-track collection also includes two new solo Fogerty recordings "Mystic Highway" and "Train of Fools"  as well as a rendition of Creedence's "Lodi" that features John's sons, Shane and Tyler.
