The first Cook Smart, Eat Smart class was so successful that it has been extended to offer the rest of the series of classes.  According to a press release from the University of Arkansas at Hope. Each session contains several basic cooking techniques and other topics related to eating and preparing meals at home.

Cook Smart, Eat Smart also provides tips for stretching your food dollar while eating healthy.  The classes are instructed by Terrie James of the Hempstead County Extension Office and will be held in Hempstead Hall from 5:30PM to 9PM.  The cost is $15.00 per class.
