Coming Soon To A Theatre Near You, A Documentary Based On Alice Coopers Life.
The premiere date for the new Alice Cooper documentary, Super Duper Alice Cooper, has been set. The movie will be shown on April 17 at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.
Meanwhile, the flick also will be coming soon to a theater near you. Special screenings of the flick will be held at more than 250 venues across America on April 30 and May 1, with a handful of other cinemas slated to screen the doc on select dates later in May. A pre-recorded "Keep Calm & Just Ask Alice" Q&A and welcome from the shock rocker will be featured at each screening.

The movie follows Cooper's life story, from his childhood as the son of a preacher to his transformation into one of rock's most outlandish frontmen to his struggles with alcohol abuse during the 1970s and his reemergence as a clean-and-sober elder rock statesman. The film includes new interviews with Alice and some of his original band mates, as well as with Elton John, Iggy Pop,Twisted Sister's Dee Snider, Sex Pistols singer John "Johnny Rotten" Lydon and other stars.
