Axl Rose has become the latest classic rocker to weigh in on the incident between Vice President-elect Mike Pence and the cast of the Broadway musical Hamilton. After President-elect Donald Trump called for the show to apologize to Pence, Rose suggested that Trump turn to the business of running the country.

“’Hamilton cast harassed Pence,’” he tweeted. “Do you ever stop whining? An apology? Seriously?! You won, this is the job, Get on with it or get out of the kitchen.”

This flap started when Pence attended Friday’s performance of Hamilton. Following the show, Brandon Victor Dixon, who stars as Vice President Aaron Burr, read a prepared statement to Pence expressing concern that a Trump-Pence administration would not protect the inalienable rights of all American citizens, and that “we hope this show has inspired you to uphold our American values, and work on behalf of ALL of us.”

The Hamilton cast is comprised largely of black and Latino actors, and its titular character is played by Javier Munoz, who is gay and HIV-positive. Donald Trump ran for president on a platform of building a wall around Mexico, and was endorsed by the Ku Klux Klan. During his time as governor of Indiana, Pence signed a bill into law that permitted businesses to discriminate against members of the LGBTQ community.

Despite being against the policies of Trump and Pence, and a fan of Hamilton, Steven Van Zandt of the E Street Band took the show to task for their actions. “He was their guest,” he wrote in a series of tweets. “You protect your guests. Don’t embarrass them. When artists perform the venue becomes your home. … It is nothing short of the same bullying tactic we rightly have criticized Trump for in the past. It’s taking unfair advantage of someone who thought they were a protected guest in your home.”
