It's time to turn the clocks back as standard time returns at 2 a.m. on Sunday morning. So be sure and set your clocks back one hour when going to bed on Saturday night. We will get back that hour sleep we lost in the spring when daylight savings time arrived.

This will make the evenings shorter as far as light is concerned but will allow students not to have to stand out in the dark waiting for the morning school bus to arrive.

Standard time will be in effect until next March when once again the country will go to daylight savings time.
