University of Arkansas at Hope

Everyone loves good old fashion fairytales but how about seeing one of the truly classic stories on ice? That's exactly what is happening this weekend at Hempstead Hall in Hope, Arkansas.

How many times have you found there was an easier way to navigate through a computer program only to find out that just about everyone else knew about the little time-saving trick way before you did?  Don't feel bad, everyone has had the same experience at one time or another. This short class at the University of Arkansas at the Hope Campus can change that for you.

At the beginning of the 2018-19 school year, the University of Arkansas at Hope and the Hope Public School District (HPSD) began a pilot program to offer students a chance to earn a high school diploma and an associate degree simultaneously.

The University of Arkansas at Hope along with the Hope Public School District will host a public informational meeting on Monday, March 4 at 6PM in the Rapert Library Complex for parents and guardians who have students interested in attending the Hope Collegiate Academy.

38 Special is Kicking off The Ark-La-Tex Outdoor Expo this year. The Expo is February 2 and 3 at Hempstead Hall on the University of Arkansas’s Hope campus and will feature over 20 vendors and educational exhibits.

The first Cook Smart, Eat Smart class was so successful that it has been extended to offer the rest of the series of classes.  According to a press release from the University of Arkansas at Hope. Each session contains several basic cooking techniques and other topics related to eating and preparing meals at home.

The University of Arkansas at Hope Continuing Education Department announced in a press release it will host an “Enhance Your Grazing Knowledge" Arkansas Grazing Lands Conference on Friday, March 17 from 9AM to 4PM at Hempstead Hall.

The University of Arkansas at Hope is taking environmental awareness to the next level with the installation of new Elkay bottle filling water stations. The bottle filling stations offer cleaner, healthier drinking water while helping to reduce plastic bottle use.

The University of Arkansas at Hope recently received funding in the amount of $25,000 to purchase new equipment for the Distance Learning Center Student Computer Lab.  The funding was awarded by the Southwest Arkansas Planning & Development District, Inc., (SWAPDD) general improvement fund.
