Because Russians are, in general, huge fans of Apple products, and yet by and large too poor to afford them, St. Petersburg has built an iPhone big enough for all of its residents.

Apple Co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs passed away earlier today at the age of 56.  Jobs battled cancer in 2004, underwent a liver transplant in 2009, and just six weeks ago stepped down as CEO of Apple.

Steve Jobs is stepping down as chief executive at Apple, the company said on Wednesday. Jobs will remain at the company as chairman, but he and his iconic black turtleneck will be replaced by former Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook.
