Texas Governor Greg Abbott issued an executive order today, March 19, 2020, closing all dine-in restaurants, bars, gyms and schools in the great State of Texas though at least, April 3, 2020. Carry out and delivery are still an option for Texas restaurants.

It's back to school time, with Texarkana, Arkansas schools starting next Monday, August 15. And the Texarkana, Arkansas Police Department wants it to be a safe start to the new school year so they have some safety tips and reminders for motorists, parents, and students.

Starting today, some employees of the Huntington Independent School District in Lufkin, Texas will be carrying loaded weapons on campus.
