The Miller County Sheriff's Office is warning the public of a new scam that they have become aware of over the past few days.

The Texas Office of the Attorney General has issued a consumer alert to help ensure Texans are not deceived by companies who appear to be government agencies trying to collect monies you supposedly owe the state.

Your Bowie County Sheriff's Office was busy two weeks ago as they took calls about someone trying to get money over the phone and telling folks he was with the BCSO. He is not.
