Matthew Barrett

The Red River Athletic Conference announced earlier this week that Heidi George of Jarvis Christian College (Texas) and Matthew Barrett of Texas A&M University-Texarkana were selected as the 2018-19 RRAC Betty Etier Character Athletes of the Year.

As part of the RRAC's commitment to the NAIA Champions of Character program, According to a press release, the conference recognizes student-athletes from member schools that have exhibited a high level of scholarship, sportsmanship, integrity, responsibility and community service.
