The annual CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) playhouse fundraiser is gearing up for its debut at Summerhill Square in Texarkana, Texas. Tickets are only $5 for your chance to win one of its playhouses. "Operation Playhouse" benefits children in our community. This year for CASA's "Songwriters on the Edge of Texas" concert, the featured performer just happens to also be nominated for the ACM "Top New Female Performer" Award for 2013.

There was a great turn-out for the 18th Annual 4-States Mustang Club's "Stampede and Cars are the Stars Show to benefit CASA at Central Mall in Texarkana.

CASA volunteers are caring adults who get to know children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect and are now going through the painful process of recovery. CASA’s provide the courts with objective information and recommendations to help ensure the child’s best interests are served.
