Get ready for the Woods and Water Expo presented by HealthCareExpress and the City of Texarkana, Arkansas on Sept. 22.  This very special event will be held at Bobby Ferguson Park, 3400 U of A Way from 10AM - 3PM.

Hard to believe this event has been around this long. It's the 28th Annual Big Bass Classic Fishing Tournament!

It's that time of year (well as soon as the rain stops) to get outside enjoy the fresh air and get a little exercise, too. We have some wonderful areas to take a walk, jog or ride your bike.

This walk was rained out in October so it was rescheduled to this Sunday, Nov. 15 at 1PM. The third annual suicide prevention walk held in Texarkana in honor of Matthew Gaines as well as many others. There is no fee to participate. The purpose of the walk is to raise awareness and to help prevent suicide in the Texarkana area.

The 2015 Susan G. Komen Texarkana Race For The Cure events are this weekend. Party in the Pink dinner is Friday, October 16, and the Race for the Cure is Saturday, October 17.

Well, they say if you have some duct tape and WD-40, you can do just about anything. As far as the tape is concerned, we are about to find out.
