Texarkana College is set to launch its newly certified Aviation Maintenance Technician program in January 2025. Following approval from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), this program aims to quickly equip students with the skills needed to meet the aviation industry’s rising demand for skilled maintenance technicians.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced Wednesday, July 10, 2024, that President Biden approved federal disaster assistance for 67 counties across the state impacted by Hurricane Beryl, including Bowie and Cass Counties. This comes after Texas requested a Major Disaster Declaration Tuesday.
