Stake out a spot on the sidewalk NOW. Paul McCartney and Justin Timberlake are lined up to perform free outdoor concerts in Hollywood for Jimmy Kimmel Live next week.

The singers literally will be stopping traffic. One quarter-mile of Hollywood Boulevard will be shut down for the expected record-breaking crowds on Monday, when McCartney makes his debut on the show, and Tuesday, when Timberlake returns.

McCartney, 71, will sit with Kimmel in the studio for an interview before performing live. He delivers his 16th studio album, New, on Oct. 15. The 12-track set is his first collection of fresh solo material since 2007's Memory Almost Full.

The next night, Timberlake will discuss his role in movie Runner Runner, opening Oct. 4, and play songs from album The 20/20 Experience, 2 of 2, out Sept. 30.

Jimmy Kimmel Live airs at 11:35 p.m.ET/PT on ABC

Both concerts will be online at Jimmy Kimmel Live Stream. They will be available immediately following their respective airings on the West Coast broadcast of the late-night show.
