Diaz was spreading sexually transmitted diseases to over a dozen office workers by urinating in their water bottles and coolers. A total of 13 women were diagnosed with herpes and hepatitis A in 2022 due to Diaz’s malicious actions. While no one is exactly sure how long Diaz had been performing this disgusting act, he was finally caught on camera. When confronted, he had no choice but to plead guilty to aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The arrest occurred in October 2022 after one of the victims realized that her water tasted a little sour and had a yellowish color. The police confronted Diaz, and he instantly confessed that his actions were malicious, but he also claimed it was due to sickness—a reason that, in my opinion, is still inexcusable. Other individuals were also infected with incurable sexually transmitted diseases, such as herpes, which can lead to serious health issues like liver failure and painful blisters.

Despite some of the victims deciding to file a lawsuit against Diaz and the custodial company that employed him, seeking at least $1 million in damages, Diaz was sentenced to a surprisingly light punishment of just six years. He was eligible for parole after only three years. It’s unclear why such a light sentence was handed down, and none of the victims have expressed their frustrations publicly yet. However, many Texans feel that justice has not been served. Diaz was caught on a hidden camera peeing in the worker's coolers and water bottles, with proof caught in 4k, the sentence would seem to be longer.
