Where to Find Free Splash Pads in East Texas This Summer
(Mix 93-1) Currently, it's the perfect time of year as far as temperatures go for East Texas. Upper 70s to low 80s and lots of sunshine, we're feeling good, but anyone who has lived in the Piney Woods for any period knows our spring does not last long.
Summer-like temperatures will be here way before spring becomes summer and we'll be feeling hot soon as the temperature creeps over the 90-degree mark.
When it gets that 'hot' we're looking for ways to cool off and a cold glass of lemonade isn't going to do the trick. Whether we cool off by turning on the water sprinklers, head to the backyard to the pool, down the street to the city pool, or even a splash pad to find some relief, we're going to find that relief.
Thankfully many cities around East Texas have splash pads
Splash pads around East Texas give toddlers, kids, and those of us who are kids at heart a chance to play in the water and cool off. Some splash pads around the area could be considered a miniature water park because there are so many different water features.
