Texas Favorite Named One of America’s Most Ethical Businesses
One of Texas’ favorite highway stops has been named among the most ethical businesses in the country. Something tells me you're not surprised Buc-ee's made the list. I sure wasn’t.
The Most Ethical Companies in America
You can count me among those who will go out of their way to support a business that aligns with their values – even if it costs a little more money. That said, I realize that’s not always possible. I’m not here to go on some sort of self-righteous rant. I’m merely sharing the results of a survey conducted by MarketBeat.

Researchers polled more than 3,000 people nationwide to determine which businesses Americans considered to be the most ethical. The top three responses were Hershey’s, The Campbell’s Company, and Burt’s Bees. As someone who is a fan of all three, it’s nice to know their hearts and minds are in the right place.
Now, about that Texas favorite I mentioned earlier. Buc-ee's was ranked the tenth most ethical business in the United States. If you know anything about them, there’s more to their story than just being a travel center with excellent road food and snacks, a quirky gift store, and a ton of gas pumps.
What Makes Buc-ee’s Stand Out
One of the things I love about Buc-ee's is that they pay their employees above-average wages, while keeping costs low for consumers. They’re also known for their exceptionally clean bathrooms and commitment to hospitality.
So, the next time you stop in for some Beaver Nuggets or a barbecue sandwich, remember, you’re not just treating yourself; you’re also supporting one of the most ethical businesses in the nation.
