Arkansas Investigation Uncovered Years of Abuse

Whitt was originally arrested in early 2024 after an investigation by the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division. Agents started looking into the case back in 2023 when they received reports of sexual abuse. Agents then learned that the abuse started back in January of 2017 and went on for the next six years and finally ended in December of 2023.

According to the press release, Whitt was initially released on a $150,000 bond, but he was taken back into custody after the jury announced its verdict.
